In the middle of the crowd
You stood there loud and proud
Everyone's excitedly cheering
Right before you start performing
I've seen your eyes become teary
That's the amount of power you carry
An ocean of people who admire you
Oh, to be there too
However, i am here
Watching you with an unshed tear
I may not be able to see you
I just want to say i'm proud of you
Your sacrifices are worth it
Your group becomes a big hit
You are now too far
Look at you now, superstar.

Unsettled Wound

by Bernadeth Cerdeña, The sun and air seems like a oven twirl. Well, it was summer, you were wearing a plain shirt and your perfume speaks how musculine you are. It adds an appeal to your broad shoulders and tanned skin, while I was wearing a brown puffed top paired with a brown trouser. I was mad at you on our first meet because you came late and that's how our storyline ink. I wasn't dream to receive apples and stitch some flowers in this place, but u made me have it unexpectedly. The little girl who loves to twirl, Seems to lost all her glitters, And all her shimmers Turns into shudders. How nice it would be, To go back to little old me. Where everybody likes me, And treats me like a barbie. Wait? Barbie? You mean, a toy, that's irreplaceable? When it's not anymore playable? Like it's disabled? Yeah, I am a Barbie . But not like the one on the shelf, I can fight for myself, I am not the little old me, Who everyone thought I should be. The glitter may fade, Atleast, I am not on everyone's parade.
